Ways to Reduce Your Vehicle Insurance Premium in Blue Bell

There are several ways to reduce your insurance premium on your vehicles.  Some of these cost-saving suggestions require a reduction in coverage, while others require perhaps purchasing more coverage.

• Combine your vehicle insurance policy with a property (home owners or renters) policy. We offer up to a combined 30% in discounts when you have both your vehicles and your home insured with Allstate.
• Make sure your policy reflects actual driving habits. Many vehicle insurance premiums are based on how a vehicle is used and how many miles per year that vehicle travels. By having the policy rating accurately reflect driving habits may save money.
• Increase your deductible on collision and/or comprehensive coverage. Depending upon driving habits and claim history, there most likely would be a significant savings over time with higher deductibles (the amount you must pay in the event of an accident).
• Consider removing collision and/or comprehensive coverage on older vehicles. Most insurance companies use “blue book” depreciated value for vehicles at the time of an accident, and in many cases, the amount paid in premium is not worth what’s insured for depreciated value of the vehicle.
• Understand which policy coverage are mandatory and which are optional.  Sometimes a policy holder may not know some coverage is optional and may remove un-needed coverage to save money.
